CREDIT(because it has really made me think!!)I have come back to this photo many times to study it. I do like its monochrome appeal and how the pink ribbon

wraps the body and column, but there seems to be a contrived artificialness that creates a sense of disquiet in me. What message are you trying to convey

– is it despair? Is it to identify breast cancer through the pink ribbon? If your purpose is for the viewer to question and feel emotion (of whatever

type) about this photo, then you have achieved your goal. If that was not the purpose, then what can you do with it to achieve your goal(s).
