I am not really into bird photography and shooting herons in the Amsterdam Zoo is certainly not a big exploit: they’re just everywhere, waiting for the sea animals to get fed. An easy way to catch fish!
This bird however, posed so well for me I could almost shoot his portrait with my standard lens.
Doesn't that deserve a place on pbase?
