It was far below zero and there was a harsh wind when I took this picture of "Humelgem Castle". The house stands in a small but lovely shaped park and is surrounded by old and photogenic trees (in which I climed so many times when I was a young boy). It`s a shame that the mansion is left in such a bad condition and I am afraid that, one day, they will have to knock it down...
When I made this photograph, the setting sun threw spectacular long, redish shadows that made from this scene something unforgettable.
