I was lucky the three days I stayed in Quebec City because while the forecast called for rain and risk of thunderstorms all three days, for the most part the storms missed the city except for one that struck in the middle of the night. This view was taken 31 floors up at the top of the tallest office building in the city showing the National Assembly in the foreground, Chateau Frontenac and the Old City in the background with stormy skies in the far distance. After taking this photo and enjoying the view for a while longer, I went back out on the streets to walk over to the citadelle and only then in my last afternoon there did the rain finally catch up with me. It lasted for most of the hour of the outdoor tour but never amounted to anything more than a sprinkle.
