I'm sure the thumbnail got a few hearts racing that a Hooded Warbler is in town but nope, this is an oldie from last spring when a Hooded Warbler hung out at a nearby park for well over a week. It is also a comment about how far my collection of unsorted photos goes back! I think this is about as far back as they go. In my defense, my photos of this bird were already sorted on my storage drives but I never looked through them in much detail, only quickly to pick out the best of the best to share while leaving the rest for another time (or in those case another year!). I deleted 70% of the photos I took from that day and among the rest, this one stood out as the best of the rest that never saw the light of day (or your screen!).
