Hairstreak season barely started and the individuals I am seeing lately, the very few, are now showing wear like this Coral Hairstreak which is also missing a small piece of its forewing.
I was looking for this species yesterday in a spot I almost always see them, but was unsuccessful. Your beautiful image, detailed and with terrific light, is a treat.
