Eastern Amberwing (Perithemis tenera)

This tiny dragonfly spent most of his time perched on lilypads, only leaving his perch to defend its territory from other males, and for some reason most of the time he was perched, he would raise his front legs and hold them in this way. I'm not sure why he was doing this. I don't recall if I have seen other dragonflies do this.
