Leafhopper (Cuerna striata)

This is my first insect photo of 2012. I was out today looking for early spring insects and found many spiders (next photos), flies of a couple different types and a few of these early spring leaf hoppers.

Ohhh, lucky you!! I was out looking for these today, as well. Didn't see any. Saw snow fleas, a few flies, lots of spiders, but not these guys. You got a gorgeous shot, too! V
