Sometimes when I'm walking along something I normally wouldn't take a photo of catches my eye and I end up focused entirely on it for some time. That happened when I came across a patch of this towering grass. The height of this grass, which stood nearly 8 feet tall, caught my attention, and I also thought it looked interesting how the leaves stretched upwards like rays among the seed head. I ended up abandoning and forgetting about my other pursuits this morning and spending some time trying to get a photo of this grass. This was the only photo that I liked.
