A male Rose-breasted Grosbeak at my feeder. A few days after this photo was taken all the migratory birds that were showing up at my feeders including this male Rose-breasted Grosbeak, the male Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Indigo Bunting, White-crowned and White-throated Sparrows and lone Junco cleared out. They literally left overnight. Since then it has been standard summer fare at my feeders (goldfinches, sparrows, chickadees, woodpeckers, nuthatches, female hummingbirds, ducks) except for a visit by a Great Blue Heron that came looking for fish. That was a first.
