Birding and photography in the rain was quite good this morning! There were tons of warblers around including numbers of Magnolia, Chestnut-sided and Tennessee. No Cape May, Bay-breasted, or rarities that I could see, however. The flycatchers have moved in now; this morning I spotted Eastern Kingbird, Eastern Wood-Pewee (next photo), and heard Least Flycatcher. My highlight of the day was observing and photographing this Swainson's Thrush up close. At home the Indigo Bunting at my feeder is still around, but the Brown Thrasher and Lincoln's Sparrow are both gone. I still have numbers of White-crowned and White-throated Sparrows and one lone Junco.
