Here are a couple of shots taken in my backyard. I had my first White-throated Sparrow a couple of days ago, but it didn't stay around. I still have a number of Common Redpolls and at least one American Tree Sparrow left mixed among 35+ Dark-eyed Juncos. The bulk bag of cracked corn I bought to feed the ducks has been a big hit with the little songbirds. I have been spreading it around on the lawn and shortly thereafter, those parts of my lawn become carpeted with sparrows. On the other hand, the cracked corn has also been attracting a lot of squirrels, and they tend to hog it all and scare away the birds.
