This afternoon I returned to the spot where I saw the Compton Tortoiseshells yesterday. I found a Compton Tortoiseshell right away in the same spot and this time I was able to get a couple of photos. I also saw a Mourning Cloak flying around my front yard and along the street as I was leaving for the woods.
