A couple of photos from a morning spent photographing deer with PBase fellow users. We were looking to photograph bucks that have been frequenting a local nature trail for the past two weeks and this morning this large 10 pointer made several appearances. Whenever we saw him he was busy chasing around one particular pale doe who wanted none of his advances. Late fall is when male White-tailed Deer enter their rut. During this time the male has only one thing on his mind and it isn’t the weather!
There were numerous does and fawns in the area and one fawn was still suckling (bottom photo).
