This morning I met up with fellow PBase users Hank Vander Velde (hankvv) and Wade Clare (wadec) to photograph this pair of Redheads at a small pond. This is my first photo of this species and the first time I have seen this species up close. All my previous observations of this species were through a spotting scope. Observing waterfowl is my favorite birding activity and getting a photo along the way of an uncommon species like this is always a treat!
