This cute little Winter Wren was forging among the limbs of a large fallen tree. I stopped for a minute to get a view of the bird through my binoculars but the bird acted like some of the tame chickadees and flew closer to me and offered this and a few other opportunities to take a photo. It was quite extraordinary. That seems to be happening a lot to me lately.
