Here two White-tailed Deer stand still among the trunks of Ironwood trees. I had my standard lens on when I encountered this deer and rather than scramble to swap it for my telephoto lens, admittedly mostly because I didn't want to be bothered with the hassle of changing lenses, I tried taking a few a wider angled shots in an attempt to capture how remarkably well the deer blended in with the trees. The deer blended in so well with the trees that I doubt I would have noticed them if they hadn't caught my eye when they moved into this position. Eventually I did swap my standard lens for my telephoto lens, but the photos I ended up taking with my telephoto lens didn’t look good because I wasn't able to get a nice composition with all the trees in the way.
