While observing the abundance of turkey prints I visually followed some of them and staring at me from the end of one of the fresh sets of prints were these two turkeys. I took this quick photo with my wide-angle lens to preserve the moment in case I couldn't get my telephoto lens attached before the turkeys retreated into the bushes. This ended up being the only photo I got; the turkeys retreated into the bushes before I could swap lenses, and knowing that there was little hope of getting a clear shot of the wary turkeys among the tangles of branches I continued on. Later on I found another turkey, but the photos I took, this time with my telephoto lens, didn't turn out well.
