I grew up near the mill and fished the river many times. I spent many hours back in the 60s and 70s restoring it and the stone mill across the river and the out buildings. Then in later years I did work at times on both mills until I retired. It was an enjoyable time in my life.

Your superb photos evoke wonderful childhood memories of growing up in Clinton in the 40's and fishing at the Red Mill and the dam with my grandfather, J Phillip Exton.

Nice pictures. I'm from the area and have fished and swam the mill area, including the rope up the river on the spill way side. Brings back great memories.
