Its the first formula race in Singapore and the first night race of formula one.
The course was tough and formula one drivers found it hard to drive in a hot humid weather as well as cope with a different lights from regular day light.


Drivers complained of bumpy roads and very tight turns forcing them to loose control of their cars.
At least three cars slammed into the concrete barrier each night.
Photographers complain of virtually impossible to get a clear shot because of being "caged in".
I was lucky to position myself in a 6 meter opening near the Marina Bay Grandstand to take some pictures of
the cars without the cage effect. It was extremely difficult to get a focus lock-in on the cars
speeding at high speed and given the only 6 meters wide opening.


Facilities, staff, volunteer workers, shopping madness for Formula One souvenirs,
food and beers made the atmosphere of this three day event just like a BIG carnival.


Just like how the Singaporean say it "It was great to be part of this Formula One Race...
It was great to be part of history in the making"
CONGRATULATIONS TO SINGAPORE FIRST FORMULA ONE RACE...IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS
