One can not help notice the big space called that "roll call area". This area is where SS guards spend time to make sure that prisoners are all accounted for. The roll call usually takes 2 hours at the beginning and another 2 hours at end of the day. But on extreme weather, the SS guards will purposely take the whole day to finish the roll call...hoping that some of the prisoners will simply "drop dead".
