Pyrotechnic (or fireworks) experts from around the world comes to Manila once a year to compete for the best pyrotechnic display. This year, USA, UK, Australia, Denmark, Canada, China and Philippines participated in the competition and was held for two weekends. Unfortunately, I was only able to see the show of Canada and Denmark.

It was an awesome show and something that I have never seen before. Images came out more like graphic images rather than photographs. Some of looks like space aliens from Star Trek series.

I wish I had a more interesting foreground to give you an idea of the size of the display. Unfortunately, the display was coming from a barge in the middle of the sea and there is really nothing interesting to shoot but a dark harbor.

UK won the best display while China got special mention.
