Ifugao Banaue Rice Terraces

One of the wonders of the world, the Ifugao Banaue Rice Terraces was carved out of the mountains around 2000 years ago to grow rice in the highlands. Our expedition adventure started by leaving Baguio City at 1AM in the morning via rented van with a driver/guide. We went down the kennon road, towards pangasinan, then nueva ecija, nueva vizcaya and eventually ifugao. We arrived Ifugao Banaue Rice Terraces at around 8AM.

I'm still dreaming to go to beautiful Banaue and I'll get there one of these days. I love your picture of the 4 old ladies...so full of character!

I find your picture skills amazingly good. Thank you for sharing with me the beautiful rice terraces. But isn't travelling in the wee hours of the morning from Baguio to Banaue a little bit risky especially with your family around? Anyway, this is just a thought. Now I don't have to go to the rice terraces! Have the bird's eye view already so what for? I'm sure your family had this feeling of being in a place where greatness once ruled. Keep it up!

You won't believe this. It's the first time I'm having a close glimpse of the rice terraces. It's beautiful! It's hard to imagine how they built this. My compliments to the artist. Galing mo.

What a panorama it is! I imagine my self standing on top of the terrace , feeling
a little dizzy and also wondering about how people can think of this sort of marvellous creation in the deep mountains. Your effort and time devoted to pick it up is really aweful.

How wonderful that you had the opportunity to see the Banaue Rice Terraces.
I have always wanted to see it. Maybe one day.
Your pictures are beautiful. You should try submitting it to the National Geographic.

I have also taken photos of the Banaue Rice Terraces but the difference between mine and yours is .......... well ... very different... I envy you for having such talent. Keep up the good work !
