You DON'T want to know the prices there. Neither do I. That's another reason that I bypassed Lucerne. I'd have been paying what would be in Australia 5 star prices for hotels that could kindly be described as 3 star. This one probably doesn't fall into that category but I suspect that the going rate is about 1 gold bar per night. (OK, curiosity got the better of me; a bit over $AUD500 per night. Less than I expected, but way more than I would pay without a successful bank heist or three behind me.)
