Alexis with a spider monkey in Playa de Carmen. The last time we were in Playa de Carmen the population was about 8000, now it is 165,000. It was quite a shocking change.
Oh, HUMAN population I presume you meant. I was thinking that that was an awful lot of spider monkeys. But on the other hand I don't imagine that there are too many tourists who wouldn't find them so cute that they want to take them home. Until the "toilet training" thing became an issue, anyway.
