The petrified wood at the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona is an amazing place to visit. Hard to imagine that it was all drift wood.

Fascinating shot; you've focused in on everything that matters, making it pure in both the earthiness of the colours and the shapes that are similar, yet different. (The wood still seems to follow a curve, even if it's a more "broken" curve than that of the folds of the landscape itself.)
