Just moved to scottsdale az(from upstate my ) is it possible that I have a borrowing owl in my back yard? Think he's just Over the fence in a man made carved out wash. I Have seen him/her many times at night in the neighborhood but can't find any kind of nest in the trees. I did not know there were owls that live in the ground I'm obviously an amature but the bird is so pretty I've become obsesed in wanting to find out what kind he is. Thank you for any advice. Sorry I really don't know much about birds but would like to learn more
