I don't know why, but Lavender is one of the few flower/plant aromas that I can smell. I can't resist getting my nose amongst the scent!

Lavender is used in aromatherapy to calm the senses and evoke a relaxed mood. If you cut it just at the peak of bloom, the fragrance will remain for months.

Yes, very original. My sense of smell is not that good, but I have lemon balm in my garden as well as lavender.
