Classics of a certain age

Sunday 19th June - Day 183

Day 183.... whooohoooo..... halfway through my PaD year! I've learnt a lot from the last 6 months, and look forward to learning a lot more.

These cars are familiar to those of us in the UK, and possibly elsewhere in the world, as the Morris Minor was one of the few cars I remember from when I was (extremely :)) young! I suppose it says a lot about both their reliability/fixability, and the lack of initiative in the British Motor Industry that the Minor was in manufacture from 1948 to 1970(ish)...

I also found this hidden door

other sizes: small medium large auto

We had two Minors, a 1953 soft top and then a 1960 saloon. A colleague at work recently sold hers after decades and bought a Honda - "it's even got a heater that works" she yelled!

Beautiful classic cars. They look like they are taken care of very well.
I like the contrasts of the black and the white.

My aunt bought herself a brand new Morris Minor in the early 50's & it was still as good as new 40 years later. A bit like these.

this would make a great card for a Morris Minor fan. Beautiful.

Apparently, my husband had a Morris Minor Traveller just before he met me but had just exchanged it for a newer yellow Ford Escort estate which was a rust box on wheels. Should have kept the Morris Minor!

This photo shows the strength of these cars--not plastic and polyurethene. It's Father's Day in the U. S., so I'll say Happy Father's Day to you.

This is excellent. I really like how you've filled the frame with the cars.

Great cars - looks like the black one is a very early model?
