Broom

Sunday 24th April - Day 127

While I've been away, many of the plants in the garden have sprung into leaf and blossom. What a difference a week makes at this time of year. This is a bi-coloured broom, the other colour blossoms later. Strange.

I'm absolutely shattered. I've been dozing a lot of the day, and I think an early bed calls!

These are beautiful. I've never seen these before; they remind me of tiny little orchids. Very pretty shot, Lee.

Such an unusual little flower ... I've never seen anything like it before. It reminds me of icing flowers you find on wedding cakes ... nicely done! :)

At first I thought it was shell macaroni. So, this is what broom blooms like. I have used the stalks in flower arrangements and never saw the bloom; thanks.

They look like whirling dervishes, Lee. Very sweet flowers.

I love the depth in this photo. It feels as though you could reach your hand in.

No matter how beautiful the place I've been, I'm always excited to return home....especially to a view like this ;)

Broom? They're pretty. Hope you recover from the jet lag soon. :)

Very beautiful light colors. I have been sleepy today too and just woke up from a two hour nap. I guess that is what Sunday is for to re-cuperate (SP?).

Yes, I've noticed that all the trees seem to have blossomed this week here too. Amazing.
