Old Ash Tree

This tree was a lovely old ash. It had slowly grown over the years until it took over the whole backyard. I got the specialist in to discuss pruning it back but there was a split forming between the two trunks which meant it had to come out. The yard is vastly different now. When I let the dogs out to check out their new yard Emma started barking. There was an airship overhead and she hates them! And hot air balloons LOL

Yes Josh, very sad. I felt like a tree killer, which I am. But I have 2 other large trees in the yard and plans to plant another one or two later in the year. Just not as big as the ash.

Wow Anne,what a great record of how the tree was removed. Those fellows are incredible to watch in action.
