Hey John! I was browsing the web for photos of Ontario, OR and I stumbled onto your site. You have some beautiful photos of our area (actually, from all around!) & I want to know how to get permission to use them on our business website(if you allow use of your images). Can you let me know?

Hi john, how are u;)
My name is Saeed and im writing to you from Stovkholm-Sweden. I saw your pictures in your photo gallery and they were beautiful, specially the landscape pictures you have taken are amazing.
Im myself kind of new beginner in photography but im learning and improving my skills slowly. I was wondering, what kind of lens and filter did you use to shoot those landscape pictures? And what more is needed to get the pictures the way u got them-Beautiful.
I would appriciate it alot if you could send me an email and give me some advice on that.
By the way, im using a Canon Eos 1D. Havent got any special lenses yet but do u have any suggestions what kind of lenses suits for lanscaping and also fashion photography(portrait)?
Thank you very much.
My email is : zorro2040@yahoo.com

Sincerely yours

Said.

Hi!

Stopping by from Stockholm, Sweden. Nice photos with your 17-40mm! I have bought one, but I think mine is a bit soft compared to your shots... What flash are you using? the inbuilt one or an external? Which external flash? Best Regards

Hey Skip,

Well I just found your photography stuff and it is simply stunning! I'm just getting into photography (there's a lot to learn but I'm loving it!) and like you I find it very therepeutic as well - much quicker and more instantly rewarding than sitting behind Logic for days on end... :-)

Take care matey and hope you are well,

Congratulations, John, it seems you have the best anyone can have in a life, and I think when, in your profile, you speak about the therapy of the photography; that's because whenever takings a picture you are stating what you have to your around and with you. Take care of it.
My too, I have now a 20D after a 10D (I was refering about it, obviously, -LOL-), and I like it.
Thanks for sharing and Greetings from Spain

Great photos. It seems that the Sigma 20mm is your favourite lens. You have convinced me, I am getting one to go with my 10D. I am hoping it will concentrate my photography, leave the zooms alone for a while.

John,
Glad to know I have a name duplicate somewhere in this world. I live in Cincy and just happened upon your gallery accidently. I enjoyed your pictures very much and found it interesting since my oldest son is a photography major at Miami University in Oxford.
Well gotta go.

You're an artist. Your work is beautiful!

Very nice work. Your studies will help me decide on my next lens. I went from the wonderful macros of the Dimage 7HI into the EOS 300D for the sake of lens changes.

My 70-300 can achieve excellent clarity with work but never the macro quality of the 180mm. I am also looking for some animal and moving bird shots. My wife practices Karate and I want to get her action shots inside as well. As you can see I don't want much. You might stop by and see my work athttp://www.photosig.com/go/users/view;jsessionid=e830246711057981972064?id=62656

John, Hope I'm not intruding on your familly site. Your photographs are great, (and your daughter is beautiful). I'm currently in South Korea teaching english, i'm going up to seoul this weekend to buy the 10D. I have around $1000 bucks for lenses... and am looking for your advice on which two lenses you would recommend to buy. Again... your site is great.. good work. Thanks for your help!!!!

Hi John & Care,
I think I should have some say in who can have Hannah. After all, I watched her grow inside Mom, helped her start her new life on the outside, and take great pride in her beautiful family. So what do you think? Can I have her?

Oh, by the way the photos are wonderful!!! I noticed the new camera. We need to talk. I have had my eye on the Cannon too.

Love, Annette

No, Linda. I read your note, and I won't let you adopt Hannah! We need her in the family too much!! You certainly can share her with us, but we're keeping her, right John and Care?? Hope you all had a great Easter....we missed you all. Love, Auntie Joan

Hannah is a doll. Can I adopt her as my granddaughter?
