Aye, A Pirate Lass

Kelowna, British Columbia

I ran into this strapping young lass after finishing a lawn bowling assignment for the paper. She was
on her way to a Pirate Party on one of the cruise boats that ply the silvery waters of Okanagan Lake.
Aye, me hearties. She was decked out in all her fineries, she was.
And struck a fine pose for me, she did. Arr-arr!

That's a nasty-looking bottle opener! I imagine they couldn't start the party without her.

Excellent portrait, Fred. Shows just the right amount of insolence for a pirate lass. V
