Kinnick

Kamloops, British Columbia

...is a Great Snowy Owl who is being rehabilitated at the BC Wildlife Park near Kamloops, BC. Kinnick
normally lives in the north hunting his favourite food, the Lemming. The Lemming population crashes
about every four years and our friends, the Great Snowy Owls, must search elsewhere for food which
forces them to travel south. Kinnick came in with a damaged wing but is nearly fully healed. Since
he is now so accustomed to people, it is uncertain if he can be released to the wild.
