After spending a few days exploring San Francisco this past September, Fred and I headed north to Napa. We spent a leisurely couple days exploring the various wineries, but fearing too much wine tasting would hinder our creative juices, we saved the wine sampling for dinner. This image was taken at the Clos Pegase Winery just before sunset. The winery had closed for the day, so we wandered the grounds at our leisure taking photos--no tourists to walk into our shots--quite a change from the bustling crowds of tourists we'd encountered at the other wineries earlier in the day. This shot was taken from inside the entrance looking out the front and to the vineyards nearby.
