This is an Amanica Muscaria which was growing next to our trailer at Kokanee Creek Park campsite.
It is both poisonous and edible. Apparently, if you boil it first to remove the toxins it can
be quite tasty. Not sure I want to try. Others claim it can be fatal or get you high like
the Psilocybin mushroom.
