We visited what's left of a large power station in Schelle, a little southeast from Antwerp. At its debut in 1930, it was the largest coal-fired plant in Europe. Production ended in 2000, and by 2016 all on-site activities stopped. Most of the machinery has been removed already, as the site is to be re-developed in the near future.
