Amer Southwest

Most of the 330 species of hummingbirds are in Central and South America. About 19 regularly occur in the US, some just barely within this country just north of the Mexican border; some 16 are known to be nesting species. There are parts of the South-West, SE Arizona and SW New Mexico, where at the right time of year, many of these can be seen in one place.
