This is my private observatory SW of Paducah, TX, near the old town of Delwin. It is on 45 acres of native Texas grassland with mesquite trees. The main cabin has a combined kitchen, living room and bed like a studio apartment. There is a separate full bathroom and 8x11 Observatory room holding all my equipment and desk with a desktop computer for imaging. This room overlooks a 9x12 fenced observatory. The skies are 21.99 on the light pollution scale (almost Bortle 1).
Before anyone asks I am going to paint the inside walls of the fence in the Observatory flat black. I am not completely finished but I am operational.
I use an AP 900 mount with a Takahashi FSQ 106 and an AstroTech 8 inch Carbon Fiber RC. I also have an 18 inch Obsession Dobsonian for visual.

I have my own Clear Dark Sky site below. My friend John Love is building his own observatory on adjacent land as the Star Ranch Observatory
