Kings Canyon cuts back into the George Gill Range in Central Australia. The main escarpment is about 1,000 feet.
The Kings Creek is normally a dry creek bed but is subject to flash flooding. The upper part of the canyon (at 90 degrees to the main canyon) has permanent water and is known as the Garden of Eden.
