Bay City Creek ravine feeder, Ashland County, 19 December 2006
Amazingly, this male (age?) has been present for several weeks at the same feeder as the Tufted Titmouse. To my knowledge, the bird represents the Chequamegon Bay area's second winter record for this species. Unfortunately, the bird's left wing appears to be broken, although it can still fly laboriously over short distances.
