This is a composite image with Thayer's/Kumlien's Gull on left and Herring Gull on right. Note the differences in wingtip color/pattern and eye color, especially considering that both birds were photographed in the same light at nearly the same time. IGNORE BODY SIZE as the images were resized separately and scaled to show the birds as the same size.
