An uncommon to fairly common clubtail of marshy ponds, lakes, and slow streams. Kind of a tricky ID (for me anyway) but note (1) a narrow club and (2) the extensive bright yellow on top of abdominal segment 9. The much rarer Pronghorn Clubtail is very similar but male Pronghorns have a large side tooth on the side of the upper clasper (hence the name) that is lacking in Lancets. Compare frontal views of the ridge between the eyes in females.
