I agree. I think you need the context of the bird on the fence. But it does have wonderful detail.

I think this one lacks the context of the previous shot and thereby loses something. As powerful as both shots are, I find them hard to look at, I guess, because they make death so immediate and almost personal -- no matter what type of creature is involved. (OK, maybe not for spiders and cockroaches.)
