Rayong City is the provincial capital and is located on Thailand's Eastern seaboard about 60kms to the South East of Pattaya city. The city is not really a tourist spot but has some nice beaches nearby and has very good shopping areas with modern malls and a large IT Super Centre too. Generally produce, clothes, furniture and most other items are noticeably cheaper than in the neighbouring tourist centre of Pattaya.
