I agree with Tom H, lose the leaves or if it was cropped let the tree talk to us. The eye looks pretty sharp, but I think I have seen sharper, says he the expert! Seems nice bokeh to me.

Ray, even with the slight dof problem this is a very good shot. Any chance of bringing in a little more of the tree? The colours and position of the bird are great and as a photograph I would not mind a smaller bird to get better comp. Could be high on the list. Tom H.

An excellent lift-off of a red-tail, in nice, soft light. Still sharp, plenty of detail, a bit of wing blur conveying the movement, and just a touch of the fall environment giving context.
