(Bridal Veil Falls in winters clutch)
We came to the end of a photo excursion and debated at doing an outcropping (crazy climb)
up snow covered rocks to get a fresh view of Bridal Veil falls. We did not have to trek
that far before coming across this different view of the fall itself. This time of year
the sun would not settle on the falls. Ice and snow would accumulate near the fall and
it so happened this day that the chunks were finally falling
off making for quite a show.
"And when, on the still cold nights, he pointed
his nose at a star and howled long and wolflike,
it was his ancestors, dead and dust, pointing
nose at star and howling down through the
centuries and through him."
-Jack London, The Call of the Wild
