Brazilian dance spectacular

This world-renowned show traces the development of
the Brazilian music and dance forms from the slave trade era,
when slaves were captured along the West African hinterland
and shipped inhumanely to Brazil and the Caribbean region,
bringing with them their rich indigenous musical and dance traditions.
These traditions were influenced by American Indian forms and later by
European music and dance.
All of these disparate influences eventually culminated in the
unique genre of Brazilian music and dance - and the spectacle of Carnival.
