Cape Paterson, Victoria.

Cape Paterson Bay Beach is a 400m curving beach located adjacent to the centre of the Cape Paterson township and at the foot of the Caravan and Camping grounds.
This popular beach is ideal for families, anglers and divers alike, and includes a man-made rock pool on the nearby rock platform.

A am at complete loss trying to figure what geological force created these formations. Nor could I find out on line. Very intriguing how the fissure lines seem to emanate from a high point and run out along a small ridge. It looks like a recent sedimentary rock but beyond that... Very different and quite a puzzle. Lovely capture of this very strange phenomena. BV
