Granite Boulders.

Emu Flat

Nestled between the larger towns of Heathcote and Kilmore, is a tiny place called Emu Flat.
With undulating hills spattered with hundreds of granite boulders and rock formations resembling ancient ruins of varying shapes and sizes along the Lancefield Tooborac Road, they are really unique.

Very interesting topography. I wonder what geological forces account for these boulders being here. Vote.

This is wonderful, Barbara, and reminds me of Texas Canyon, AZ, where we also have huge
granite boulders. Beautiful image.

You can't beat geology! Especially a gorgeous lump of granite - I see what Iaine says about the golfer or could be a relative from Easter Island!
